Make sure that the file you are trying to open is associated with the program you are using (i.e. Microsoft Word is used for opening .doc and .txt files, Microsoft Photo Editor is used for opening picture files .jpg, .gif, etc). Ask a Help Desk worker for assistance if you are sure you are using the proper program to open your file.
